About A Good Man Is Hard To Find

A Good Man Is Hard to Find is written by Flannery O’Connor. The story starts out with the family all talking about their trip to Florida. The grandmother was reading the newspaper and saw that The Misfit was in Florida and that they should not go there because of him. She wanted them to go to Tennessee to take their vacation there instead of Florida. Well the grandmother did not get what she wanted and they were on their way to Florida. The grandmother told stories to the kids and they also read comic book. After a while on the road they stop for barbecued sandwiches for lunch. While they were there the owner and the grandmother talked about how people should be good and then they were on their way again. On the road the grandmother talked about a house that had a secret doorway and of course the children wanted to see it. After they finally got their dad Bailey to let them go, they start on a dirt road towards the house. On the dirt road they had an accident and the car went down a hill and the grandmother realized the house is not the state the house was in. They got out and flagged down a car which was The Misfit and his friends. Eventually the grandmother realizes who it is. The friends take the dad Bailey in the woods and kills him and then take the wife and kids to the woods and also kills them. The grandmother talks to The Misfit and about Jesus and he kills her.
